Founded in Virginia Beach in 2002 by Bernadette Vaughan, Commonwealth Tax's reputation for providing quality service reflects the core values and high standards of our founder.  Our responsive service and specialized staff spell the difference between our firm and the rest.

 

In 2012, we expanded our expertise and the scope of our services as we welcomed clients from Commonwealth Tax Professionals, Ltd. when Tom and Nancy Cantrell retired from income tax preparation and closed that business.

In 2014, we consolidated all of our operations under one roof to provide more complete and seamless service to our clients as our firm continues forward under the leadership of Bernadette Vaughan.
